DR. ANNETTE ROSER

Annette Roser studied the Humanities and Social Sciences at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and did her doctorate at KIT and Toulouse-Le Mirail University. After working for two years at Fraunhofer ISI in the Sustainability Competence Center, she changed to Büro für sozialverträgliche Ressourcennutzung, BSR GbR, the forerunner organisation of IREES. When IREES GmbH was established in 2006, Annette Roser took over research matters in the field of social sciences; in 2009 she became head of business unit Socio-scientific Evaluation, and in 2013 Partner at IREES. Her fields of work are socioscientific research with the emphasis on the aspects of sustainability in energy generation, energy supply and energy demand; investigations on impeding and promoting factors for the introduction of new material and energy efficient technologies, taking economic and societal aspects into consideration; analyses and recommendations for action for key players in the introduction of new environmentally friendly technologies on the market; evaluation of promotion programmes at the national and international levels.
