Kai Bergmann has been working as project manager and project engineer at IREES since March 2019. His key activities include projects in the field of energy efficiency, energy and IT management.
Mr. Bergmann graduated from the (F)HTW Berlin with a Diploma in Engineering (FH) for Environmental Technology / Renewable Energies and as Master of Science in Environmental Industrial Computing. From April 2008 to March 2013, he worked as an energy efficiency engineer for Eproplan GmbH, advising industrial companies, drafting concepts and developing technical calculation tools. In addition, he supervised several energy efficiency networks as a consultant engineer and moderator.
From April 2013 he temporarily moved to the IREES for the 30 pilot networks project, where he coordinated external partners in the development of the management and calculation tools in the LEEN management system, which he consistently pursued in July 2014 at LEEN GmbH as project manager and requirements engineer continued led. In addition to the support of external partners on an international level, the management of energy efficiency networks, the conduct of energy audits, monitoring, training and workshops remained part of his work.
From September 2018, he supported the project Solar Automotive – Solar Process Heat for the Automotive and Supply Industry at the STREKS Foundation for Resource Efficiency and Climate Protection. The focus here was on the development of energy efficiency measures, solar thermal process heat generation, concept and reporting.
