Su-Min Choi

Su-Min Choi holds a BSc from Pforzheim University in Business Administration/Market Research and Consumer Psychology and an MSc from Utrecht University in Sustainable Development/Energy and Materials. In her research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI), the Netherlands Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving (PBL) and the Copernicus Institute for Sustainable Development, she focused on social acceptance, stakeholder systems and scenario modeling on energy access, renewable energy generation and distribution, transport infrastructure and innovation systems. As part of her master’s thesis, she collaborated with PBL to develop a model component to represent social science aspects in the IMAGE Integrated Assessment Model, with the goal of mapping the impact of electricity demand from microenterprises in sub-Saharan Africa for electricity supply planning.
