TANJA MARTIN (formerly BRATSCH)

Tanja Martin has been employed as a research associate at IREES since September 2019 and takes on leading activities in various projects. Her research currently focuses on acceptance research and the identification and analysis of barriers and success factors of renewable energies, energy efficiency and innovation in a national and international context. Until June 2019, she worked on her Master’s thesis on energy efficiency in industrial companies in the IREES project “LEEN 100 plus”.
From July 2016 to September 2018, Tanja Martin worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer ISI in Karlsruhe. She also gained experience in the field of application-oriented research and working on sustainability-related problems in 2015 during a three-month internship at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) in Heidelberg in the area of ecological product policy. She studied sociology at the University of Heidelberg with a focus on theoretically and methodologically sound organisational and institutional analysis.
