H2-Companion: Umfrage bei der H2-Wandel Fachtagung am fem Forschungsinstitut

⁉️ “Hydrogen? Here’s How!” – This week, we attended the H2-Wandel Symposium 2026 at the fem Research Institute in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Under the theme “Hydrogen? Here’s How! A Joint Look at Best Practice Examples,” the focus was on concrete applications, regional experiences, and perspectives for the HydrogenRollout.

As part of our H2Companion research project, we took the opportunity to gauge the mood among participants with a short questionnaire: Which application areas are seen as priorities? When will hydrogen become relevant for different sectors? How important is it to take action now—for example, with regard to climate protection, competitiveness, and security of supply? And what obstacles are currently standing in the way of the hydrogen ramp-up?

These practical assessments are particularly valuable for our companion research. They help us better understand how the hydrogen ramp-up is perceived, what expectations exist, and where there is still a need for support.
