EE4ING – ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE: ONLINE WORKSHOPS WITH EXPERTS 🌍
In order to achieve the German government’s energy system transformation goals, a substantial increase in energy efficiency in the industrial sector is also necessary. The aim of the collaborative project “Research Network Energy in Industry and Trade – Networking and Monitoring R&D Activities and Accelerating the Dissemination of Results” commissioned by the BMWi is to identify and network decisive innovations in order to accelerate the dissemination of results on this basis.
Within the framework of the project, IREES is organising three online workshops with selected experts on technologies for the use of industrial waste heat. Each workshop is scheduled to last four hours and will focus on the following topics:
1) “ORC plants as waste heat using plants for power generation” on 22.04.
2) “Thermoelectric generators – an underestimated option for waste heat utilisation?” on 29.04.
3) “Why are patent applications and publications for medium temperature heat exchangers booming?” on 05.05.
