Kick-off of our new EU project ESCALATE in Karlsruhe

In September, we launched a pioneering project in Karlsruhe: With 11 European partners and a duration of three years, ESCALATE aims to significantly advance the heat transition in the EU.

Buildings consume more energy in the EU than any other sector. In order to drive forward the energy transition, the revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) now also requires medium-sized municipalities with over 45,000 inhabitants to develop heating and cooling plans. However, these municipalities often lack the technical and financial resources.

This is where ESCALATE comes in: the project will train and support regional energy agencies in Europe to become effective heating and cooling planners. For more information on our new EU project under the LIFE program, follow us here!

We are looking forward to working together and are excited about the next 3 years!
