A Practical Guide to Communication in Energy Consulting

🏠 🔍 💬 How can energy-efficient renovation of the existing building stock be accelerated? Alongside technical solutions and funding programmes, good advice and clear communication play a central role.

Together with Öko-Institut, IREES is working on a new project commissioned by the German Energy Agency (dena) to develop a practice-oriented guide for energy consultants.

The guide is intended to help energy consultants convey complex information on energy-efficient renovation in an understandable way, support the decision-making processes of property owners, and constructively facilitate discussions — for instance within homeowners’ associations. In addition to methods and communication strategies, the project will produce concrete practical tools.

Our goal: to strengthen energy consultants in their key role and thereby support the implementation of energy-efficient renovations in the existing building stock.
