Climate neutrality network in the Karlsruhe technology region – awarded the AGEEN seal of approval
Climate neutrality network in the Karlsruhe technology region – awarded the AGEEN seal of approval π
The climate neutrality network, which has been running for almost three years, received the seal of approval from AGEEN – Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Energieeffizienz-Netzwerke Deutschland e.V. in mid-November.
JΓΆrg Scheyhing from ECG Energie Consulting GmbH, the network’s energy technology consultant, accepted the certificates on behalf of the network team and the 12 participating companies from Dr. Karsten McGovern, Head of the LEA LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen.
After almost three years of running this regional network with companies from very different sectors, the targets set of 10% energy efficiency gains and 20% CO2 emission reductions are now within reach. With optimized heating control, for example, companies have not only been able to reduce their energy costs, but also save significant greenhouse gas emissions.
The heterogeneity of the network leads to a cross-industry transfer of know-how and ideas. The broadly diversified knowledge landscape in terms of technology and research provides the participants with the latest knowledge of cutting-edge consulting and applied research – e.g. in mobility or waste heat utilization.
The participants are so enthusiastic that we are planning to start a second round at the end of the program. To this end, we would like to open up the network to other interested companies – if you are interested β Contact us β
