KWP Nuremberg Information event to present the results
Full house at the Uhrenhaus: Information event on municipal heating planning in Nuremberg
How will we heat tomorrow – and how will this become a climate-neutral, affordable and reliable heating supply for the whole of Nuremberg?
These questions were the focus of a public information event at N-ERGIE’s Uhrenhaus on June 23, 2025.
Together with Lord Mayor Marcus König, Planning and Building Officer Daniel Ulrich, N-ERGIE Board Spokesman Maik Render, Managing Director of N-ERGIE Regenerativ GmbH Norman Villnow and energy consultant Marcel Neberich, Jan Steinbach from IREES GmbH presented the key results of the Municipal Heat Planning (KWP).
We at IREES GmbH are delighted to have been commissioned by the City of Nuremberg to provide technical support for this forward-looking process and to have contributed to the success of the event with a presentation and moderation. The great interest shown by citizens – both on site and in the livestream – is proof of this: The heating transition has arrived. Many participants took the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and engage in discussions.
Many thanks to the City of Nuremberg, N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft and everyone involved for the trusting cooperation and an all-round successful event!
