H2-Companion project meeting in Stuttgart

Summer, sun, project meeting at Fraunhofer IAO on the H2-Companion project – accompanying research on the model region Green Hydrogen Baden-Württemberg

Together with colleagues from Fraunhofer IAO, Fraunhofer ISI and ifeu – Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg gGmbH, we looked back on the last few months of the H2-Companion project at Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart, discussed the status of the work packages and the next steps. Together in the consortium, we are conducting the accompanying research for the two hydrogen model regions H2-Wandel and H2-GeNeSiS.

The research project includes, among other things:
➡️ Economic considerations of different operating modes for electrolysers
➡️Szenarioanalysen for the hydrogen market
➡️Eine Life cycle analysis that calculates the environmental impact of the hydrogen economy
➡️Akzeptanzanalysen in the model regions concerned
➡️Betrachtungen of new requirements of the hydrogen economy in the education sector

H2-Companion is funded by the EU ERDF fund and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector.
