Lights, camera, energy transition! 🎬 IREES produces training videos for ESCALATE

🎬 AND ACTION! Our office is turning into a film studio!
The IREES office has been transformed into a film studio for a few days: amid cables, lights, and improvised sets, training videos are currently being produced for the EU LIFE project #ESCALATE, which we are coordinating.✨

#ESCALATE supports municipalities across Europe in expanding their capacities for sustainable heating and cooling planning. To this end, we are developing an online training course, a guide, and an accompanying template.
The videos we are currently shooting are part of this capacity-building program: they show the key steps in municipal heating planning, from data analysis and scenario development to the involvement of citizens in the form of energy communities. 🌍

Our goal is to prepare knowledge from research and practice in such a way that municipal teams across Europe can use it directly for their own projects, dialogue processes, and decisions.
And that’s exactly why we’re not in the workshop room today, but in front of the camera, working with our ESCALATE project partners to show ways in which municipalities can initiate the heating transition locally. 🔥
