eceee Zero Carbon Industry 2026 in Rome

🌍 Review: IREES at the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee) Zero Carbon Industry 2026 in Rome

Two intensive days of exchange and new ideas are now behind us. The conference once again demonstrated how crucial sound analysis and international cooperation are for industrial transformation. We are delighted that IREES GmbH was represented with several contributions.

Our colleagues Heike Brugger and Michelle Antretter presented key findings on the potential for flexibility in olefin production and introduced the roadmap of the Industry and Commerce Research Network.

🔍 What we took away
– Decarbonization requires reliable data and realistic transformation paths.
– Technology, products, and policy must be considered together.
– International cooperation remains a key lever.

🇪🇺 Thank you for the exchange
Zero Carbon Industry 2026 offered a valuable opportunity to work together with partners from research, industry, and politics on solutions for a climate-neutral and competitive industry.

We are taking many ideas back with us and look forward to the next steps!
