Scientific Support for Climate Policy and Measurement Programme 2018

Client

Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)

Duration January 2018 – September 2023

Background

The project aims to support the client (BMU) in the short-term assessment of climate policy issues. The project therefore focuses in particular on the technical evaluation/impact assessment of concrete individual political measures in all relevant economic sectors. In addition, BMU is being supported in developing its own measures. The work follows concrete questions that arise from the current political debate and are defined in consultation with the client during the course of the project.
Very short-term support services as well as more detailed evaluation and background papers will be prepared within the framework of the project. The analyses can include both quantitative and qualitative work.
