IREES at the BW2024 congress
The 13th Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Congress Baden-Württemberg took place in Heidelberg on October 16 and 17. The focus was on the exchange of information and knowledge between companies, science and politics on the opportunities and challenges of resource efficiency and the circular economy.
As IREES, we organized the Forum15 “Energy efficiency and electrification as building blocks for the decarbonization of industry” together with our project partner of our accompanying research project EE4Ing2, the Institute for Industrial Furnace Construction and Heat Engineering (IOB) at RWTH Aachen University. Alexandra Decker moderated the forum, Oliver Lösch spoke about the role of thermal storage for industrial decarbonization. Our colleague Katharina Rothhöft from the IOB presented selected technologies for the electrification of industrial process heat.
We are delighted with the positive feedback on our forum and the many good and inspiring discussions we were able to have on site. 💬
