Lilly Schell
Lilly Schell works in the “Sustainable Buildings and Energy Infrastructures” business unit. She earned her bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in geography from the University of Bonn and National Taiwan University. She earned her master’s degree in applied physical geography from Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg.
Before joining IREES, she worked as a research assistant at the Earth Observation Research Cluster at the University of Würzburg. There, she focused on the spatiotemporal analysis of remote sensing data to investigate environmental changes and issues relevant to nature conservation. She also participated in international research and capacity-building projects.
At IREES, Lilly Schell works on GIS-based analyses and spatial modeling to support the transition to climate-neutral buildings and energy infrastructures.
Lilly Schell speaks German, English, and Spanish.
