According to Article 14 of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU), the Member States of the European Union are obliged to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the efficiency in heating and cooling supply every five years and to submit it to the EU Commission.
IREES was the project leader for the current assessment and, in addition to coordination, also contributed to the analysis and elaboration.
