Quantification of the greenhouse gas impact of state benefits in Germany

Our new study on “Quantifying the greenhouse gas impact of state benefits in Germany” in cooperation with Oeko-Institut e.V., Prognos AG and other partner institutions, in which our employees Nele Friedrichsen and Jana Deurer participated.

The study addresses the following three questions:
(1) Which state benefits in Germany can be assumed to have a relevant effect on climate policy?
(2) What additional or reduced emissions are generated annually by the existence of government incentives with regard to the climate protection targets in 2030?
(3) To what financial extent are climate-damaging purposes favored by the state?
