KomDat Consortium meeting in Berlin

How can we make district heating more efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly?
This is what the project consortium of “KomDat – Communication and Data Exchange Concept between District Heating Suppliers, Building Owners and Tenants” (KomDat – IREES GmbH) discussed this week at the consortium meeting in Berlin.

The aim of the KomDat project is to develop a digital and data-based information hub that connects network operators, building owners and tenants. The exchange and joint analysis of existing data should create synergies that benefit everyone involved: Less CO₂, lower costs, more acceptance for the expansion of green district heating.

The focus of the meeting:
💬 Where are we in the project? – The partners presented their current work packages and progress.
🛠️ What tools can we (further) develop? – Ideas and potential for digital solutions were discussed in depth.
🔄 What does a communication concept need to achieve? – The goal is a sustainable approach that creates trust, strengthens communication and involves all stakeholders in a meaningful way.

Many thanks to SAMSON KT-Elektronik for the hospitality and the exciting company tour – and also to the other project partners Fraunhofer IOSB and SEnerCon GmbH for the constructive exchange and valuable input!
