Catrice Christ joined IREES in 2018 and is Head of the Business Unit Socio-Scientific Evaluation. After her Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Information and Communication Management, she obtained a Master’s degree (M.A.) in European Development Cooperation at the University Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master’s degree (M.A.) in European Studies at the University of Hamburg.

After her studies, she first worked as an expert for the GIZ in the department “Good Governance and Human Rights”. Afterwards, she was employed as an Operations Analyst for the World Bank/IFC in Washington D. C., where she worked in the area of private sector development for the Doing Business project. Before joining IREES, she worked as a freelance consultant and was involved in various projects for the United Nations, amongst others in a project to promote urban development within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She is experienced in the quantitative analysis of indicators, in the field of stakeholder engagement, in the coordination and moderation of networks, in communication with and networking of different stakeholders, in project management and in the management of research and contractual projects in the field of energy and climate policy.

She speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
